Abstract

The most important feature of the sport is its close association with the developments and foundations of other natural sciences, as each sports activity is characterized by special abilities and characteristics that qualify the athlete to practice this type of activity and enable him to reach high levels.
Although there is an optimal technical performance for a particular movement - swimming - every player is obligated to perform this movement, but there is a difference between one player and another in his functional abilities, so that performance may suit some players and may not suit others.        Mccloy (1964) and Mathaus (1978) indicate that every skillful performance requires a special kind of abilities that must be available to the player himself in addition to the abilities associated with the training process, and the physical and physiological abilities constitute basic aspects that affect Digital and achieving championship level, where physical performance requires a certain degree of functional readiness that prepares the body to meet the requirements of the type of activity practiced until the physiological adaptation process occurs that automatically leads to that adaptation.
