Swimming is considered one of the digital sports that its practitioners undergo intense training, and the swimmer in this field struggles and contend in the exercises for a few seconds, separating him from his colleague in order to achieve a better digital level, in a fraction of a second he may achieve a new record, a place or has a medal. The swimmer, in order to achieve a better digital level and improve the performance level, must follow modern and advanced training methods that work to develop the elements of strength and speed of the swimmer. Speed is the ability to perform sequential movements of one kind in the shortest period of time. It is considered one of the main factors of physical performance, which is related to the succession of muscle contraction upon movement performance, and it is the basic component of most sports activities, especially associated with the time of movement performance. Speed affects all other physical abilities as it is related to muscle strength (9: 161) Muhammad Ali Al-Qat (2001 AD) indicates that speed training is one of the basic and important types of training from the physiological point of view and in terms of energy representation for swimming, in general, and for speed swimmers in particular, and speed training depends on the use of anaerobic training and in this method, the swimmer is required to perform a short distance or swim for a short period of time so that maximum effort is made, rest periods between groups are reasonably enough, allowing the swimmer to recover and assist him in continuing training and exerting effort for the following groups (19: 13)
