Abstract

      Football has a prominent place among different sporting activities and everyone is keen to watch its matches because it adds joy and excitement, due to its competition in which two teams exchange positions, whether defensive or offensive, and the abilities and capabilities they require the players to face the events and variables of the match with changing and fast situations in order to achieve victory, as well as the effort made by the players on the field due to the large area of ​​the stadium and the duration of the match.
       It is noticed that after each tournament, the discussion concentrates in every place about the goals that were scored in the tournament and the difference appears between the different opinions (spectator - the critic - player-coach- manager) about the goals and the methods of achieving them, as well as in terms of different points of view.
      Ibrahim Shaalan and Amr Abu Al-Majd (1996) state that the ability to conduct planning in both offensive and defensive parts is the decisive factor in winning the match. The elements of high physical fitness, the technical level of the game's skills, and the voluntary and psychological qualities of the two teams, however, will always be difficult to achieve congruence between the two teams in terms of thinking and actions, so focusing on them is one of the essential factors for resolving the outcome of any match.
