Abstract

Search objective:

The research aims to identify the effect of using a training program for mental visualization enhanced with a virtual reality model and muscular ability on developing some offensive skills for handball players.

Research Methodology:

The researchers used the experimental approach with an experimental design for three groups, following the pre-post measurement.

Research community and sample:

The research community represented the players of Hadayek Al-Ahram Club during the training season 2021/2022, who are registered with the Egyptian Handball Federation. The distinguished group is represented by the juniors of Al-Ahly Handball Club, which consists of (10) players, and the other represents the undistinguished group represented by the juniors of Al-Safwa Handball Club, which consists of (10) players.

The most important results:

1- The proposed muscular ability program had a positive effect and statistical significance at the level of 0.05 on the level of muscular capabilities and skillful performance of the handball skills under study.

2 - The mental visualization program supported by the virtual reality model had a positive effect and statistical significance at the level of 0.05 on the level of muscular abilities and skillful performance of the handball skills under study.

Most important recommendations:

1. Using the proposed program when developing the skill level of handball players.

2. Using the proposed program when developing the level of muscular abilities of handball players.

3. Conducting similar studies on other dental stages and other
