The effect of an educational program using the Baybee strategy (5Es) on cognitive achievement and the level of breaststroke performance

Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of using the five "Z" strategy on cognitive achievement and the level of skillful performance of breaststroke among students of the Faculty of Physical Education. The researcher used the experimental approach by using the experimental design of two groups, one experimental and the other a control group, using the pre and post measurement of the two groups, due to its suitability to the nature of this research. The research sample was chosen by the intentional method from students of the second year at the Faculty of Physical Education in the academic year 2021/2022 AD, and their number is (60) students. (20) students were excluded to represent the survey sample, so that the basic research sample consisted of (40) students, divided into two groups, one of which is experimental. (20) male students and the other a female officer (20) female students. The researcher reached the following conclusions:

1- The use of the five "Z" strategy positively affected the axes of the test of the level of knowledge achievement (historical - legal - technical) in the breaststroke of the experimental group.

2- The use of the five "Z" strategy positively affected the level of skillful performance of breaststroke swimming among the experimental group.

3- There is a rate of change in the experimental and control groups in the level of cognitive achievement and the level of skillful performance of the breaststroke under study in favor of the post-measurement of the experimental group.
