Abstract

The research aims to identify the effect of three-dimensional functional training using the water bag to develop strength fitness And the record level for junior 200m butterfly swimming.” The researcher used the experimental method with an experimental design for two groups, one experimental and the other control, by applying pre- and post-measurements to the two groups. The research sample was chosen intentionally from a junior 200m butterfly swimmer at Ras El-Bar Sports Club in Damietta Governorate, under 15 years of age, and registered in the records of the Egyptian Swimming Federation for the 2022/2023 sports, Their number reached (20) teenagers, who were randomly divided into two equal groups, one of which was an experimental group, numbering (10) teenagers, and the other a control group, numbering (10) teenagers. Homogeneity was carried out on the research sample in basic measurements (age - height - weight - training age), as well as making equivalence between the young athletes of the two research groups (experimental - control) in strength fitness and the digital level of the junior 200m butterfly swimmer under investigation, The most important results indicated that three-dimensional functional exercises using the water bag lead to improving all strength fitness capabilities (muscular strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, and neuromuscular coordination) for the arms, back, and legs, and also lead to improving the digital level of a junior 200-meter butterfly swimmer.
