Effort Distribution Strategy and Its Impact on the Skill Level of Long Distance Swimming 1500m Freestyle Men at the 2023 Fukuoka World Swimming Championships

The research aims to identify the effort distribution strategy and its impact on the skill level of men's 1500-meter freestyle long-distance swimming at the 2023 Fukuoka World Swimming Championships, as well as to identify the speed of swimmers and predict the skill level in terms of the number and speed of arm strokes during the various stages of the race. The descriptive method was used by analyzing documents due to its suitability to the nature of the research from the results of the 2023 Fukuoka World Swimming Championships. The research sample also included 1500-meter freestyle long-distance players participating in the World Aquatics Championships held in Japan in Fukuoka from July 14 to 30, 2023 AD. The sample size was (8) competitors. The most important results were that there is a strategy used by swimmers in the 1500-meter freestyle swimming race to save effort and reduce the rate of energy loss. The performance level of 1500-meter freestyle swimming can also be predicted through the 50-meter performance time. At the end of the first 1000 meters of the 1500-meter freestyle swimming race, the study also recommended using the prediction equations extracted from the results to predict the digital level of the 1500-meter freestyle swimming swimmers and using the speed rates reached by the researcher to standardize the training loads for the swimmers in organizing the race and training on the swimming rhythm during every 50 meters.
