Levels of happiness among those practicing recreational sports activities with disabilities

Abstract

The research aims to identify the levels of happiness among those practicing recreational sports activities with disabilities

Research Methodology: The researchers used the descriptive method due to its suitability to the nature of the research.

Research community: The current research community in Qaderoon Club is represented by the diversity of those enrolled in the club.

Research sample: The researchers selected a random sample of people with disabilities who practice recreational sports activities at the Qadroun Club, affiliated with the Youth and Sports Directorate in North Sinai Governorate. The sample size was (106), with (72) males and (34) females. The researchers also used a number of (30) individuals from the research community and from outside the research sample to calculate the scientific coefficients of the scale

The results showed that the general average of the arithmetic averages of the responses of the research sample members with disabilities was 108.9625, which is an average level of happiness according to the scale for determining the level of happiness.

2. The results showed that the general average of the arithmetic averages of the responses of the sample’s regular disabled individuals was 198.6625, which is a high level of happiness according to the scale for determining the level of happiness and in light of the scale’s percentile standards.
