Obstacles to the spread of rowing in some governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt

The research aims to identify the obstacles (material, technical, administrative, practitioners, trainers) that limit the spread of rowing in some governorates of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The descriptive approach was used to suit the achievement of the objectives and questions of the research, The research sample was also selected by stratified random method from members of the Egyptian Rowing Federation, the Egyptian Olympic Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and members of the three regions affiliated with the Rowing Federation (Cairo, Alexandria, and Ismailia), In addition to (130 coaches, administrators, and players), the data collection tools were a questionnaire that was designed, codified, and distributed manually and electronically to the primary research sample. The data was also processed using the IBM SPSS Statistics ver.25 statistical analysis package for social sciences, The most important results indicated that the order of obstacles that affect the spread of rowing in the Arab Republic of Egypt was in the following order (material obstacles, followed by administrative obstacles, followed by technical obstacles, followed by trainers’ obstacles, followed by practitioners’ obstacles), There is a lack of financial support from sports institutions for club and national team players, as well as not allocating part of the clubs’ budget to practice rowing, with a lack
